ABA Badminton Programs delivered across multiple schools and other venues around Auckland are where the Badminton journey for most of our players begins. This is our foundation, which is not part of our Representative Program. Our Development Programs will give players all the skills and opportunities to play badminton for life and if they wish to proceed into our Representative Programs.
Every player who signs up for a program below receives a free racket to train and play.
Beginner Badminton Classes
Serious Fun, Serious Skills
Our beginner badminton programme is perfect for children aged 6-9 years old who are completely new to the sport. Over 10 weeks, our qualified and accredited coaches teach the fundamentals of badminton through games, challenges and supportive guidance.
After School Badminton
Skill development and loads of fun!
Join our after-school program to improve your game and make new friends. Whether you want to develop into a top-level player or just smash the shuttle with your mates, this is a fun environment to learn the basics and develop a love for badminton.
School Holiday Badminton
Active development and loads of fun!
The holiday program is about fundamental skills in movement using multiple sports including badminton, in a fun and inclusive environment. There is more play than drills, suiting players of all abilities.
