Auckland Badminton Association (ABA) has made several positive changes within ABA Stadium that will provide all stakeholders an improved experience.

We have several new initiatives including new mop stations around the courts, the ability for anyone to advise ABA of issues to be actioned quickly through QR codes displayed on posters around the stadium, increased security and daily inspections identifying any issues and dealing with them promptly ensuring maximum enjoyment by players.

There is now a dedicated email bookings@aklbadminton.com that is monitored by multiple ABA staff to handle any booking enquiries, including advance or multiple court bookings. The process for booking ABA Stadium for events or tournaments has been improved with a new online booking form found on our website.

While we strive to keep costs to our Clubs down as much as possible, it is unfortunately unavoidable to increase court rates due to the increased costs associated with the facility and maintenance of the courts.

Our updated pricing and conditions will not come into effect until January 1 2024. When we reviewed and made changes to our court rates in 2023, we held back any increases for Clubs. We hope by providing several months' notice that all clubs can make necessary changes to their own membership rates to allow for this small increase.
