Auckland Badminton Association (ABA) is thrilled to announce an innovative competition schedule for 2024, responding directly to valuable feedback received from our community throughout the year. This revamped schedule aims to provide players of all ages with more diverse and accessible opportunities to engage in badminton competitions.

Based on insights gathered from the badminton community, ABA has strategically adjusted its competition structure. All competitions are now open, allowing clubs to enter players according to their preferences and availability.

One of the exciting additions to the 2024 schedule is the introduction of a Women's League, recognising the growing interest and talent among female players. This league offers a platform for women to showcase their skills and foster a sense of camaraderie within the badminton community.

In response to the increasing demand from casual players, ABA is introducing Casual Club Junior Times. This initiative is designed to alleviate the pressure on clubs dealing with excess demand, providing a more relaxed and flexible environment for junior players to participate in the sport.
