Auckland Badminton Association (ABA) is proud to announce that Yonex has secured naming rights for the newly launched Auckland Premier League (APL), now rebranded as the Yonex Auckland Premier League (Yonex APL). This exciting partnership significantly boosts the competition, increasing the total prize pool to $12,000, awarded as Yonex ABA Proshop vouchers.

The prize distribution for the Yonex APL is as follows:

• 1^st Place: $800
• 2^nd Place: $200
• 3^rd Place: $80
• 4^th Place: $40
• 5^th Place: $20 to the four losing quarterfinalists.

Prizes are awarded per player in doubles and mixed doubles categories. A $1,200 Triple Crown Bonus is also offered to any player who wins in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

The vouchers are redeemable exclusively for Yonex products at the ABA Proshop. For added flexibility, players may receive 60% of the voucher’s value in cash instead.
