Auckland Badminton to Open Chill Zone and Quiet Zone on February 3

Auckland Badminton is set to enhance the experience of its players, parents, and supporters with the launch of two exciting new spaces at the Auckland Badminton Stadium: the Chill Zone and the Quiet Zone. Officially opening on February 3, these areas provide tailored environments to meet the diverse needs of the badminton community.

Chill Zone: A Space to Relax and Unwind

The Chill Zone offers a vibrant and engaging space for players to unwind between matches, socialize, and enjoy recreational activities. Equipped with a pool table, table tennis table, television, and comfortable beanbags, it serves as a hub for relaxation and camaraderie. Whether players are cooling down after a game, waiting for their next session, or simply spending time with friends, the Chill Zone fosters a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Quiet Zone: A Dedicated Space for Focus and Productivity

For those seeking a peaceful and distraction-free environment, the Quiet Zone provides a much-needed space. Designed as a small study and work area with desks, it is ideal for students looking to complete assignments before training or for parents who need a quiet spot to work while waiting for their children.

Auckland Badminton Acting General Manager Tony Naidu emphasized the importance of these new spaces in supporting the community:"We wanted to create an environment where players and families feel at home. The Chill Zone gives players a space to relax and connect, while the Quiet Zone provides a place to focus, whether it’s on schoolwork, work, or simply taking a moment of quiet before training. It’s all about making the stadium more than just a place to play—it’s about building a true badminton community."

A Step Forward for the Auckland Badminton Community

The introduction of these zones reflects Auckland Badminton's commitment to supporting its players beyond the court. By catering to both recreational and academic needs, ABA continues to strengthen its role as a hub for badminton development while fostering a supportive community environment.

Players and visitors are invited to explore the new spaces when they officially open on February 3 and enjoy the enhanced stadium facilities.
