This week, Auckland Badminton bids farewell to two valued team members, Warren Ji and Laura Lin, as they each move on to new chapters in their journeys.

Warren Ji has been a vital part of the ABA team, serving as both Coach and Development Coordinator. His dedication to player development, coaching excellence, and the growth of our programmes has left a lasting legacy. Warren’s calm leadership, deep badminton knowledge, and genuine care for athletes will be greatly missed. As he prepares for an exciting move to Australia, we extend our heartfelt thanks and wish him all the very best across the Tasman.

Laura Lin, who also served as a Development Coordinator, has contributed greatly to the delivery of our community and junior programmes. Her energy, organisation, and commitment to inspiring young players have been truly appreciated. Laura’s impact on our team and our wider badminton community has been meaningful, and we thank her sincerely for her time with us.
