The name Te Kaha is Māori, meaning 'fighting prowess' or 'strength'.
This new ABA Development Program offers youth players an opportunity to develop their skills and achieve their Badminton goals.
Players who currently are not in the ABA Representative Program, that wish to become part of the program for 2023 or 2024 should sign up for this program.
Each Term our representative coaches convene and discuss players who may be ready to move up to higher squads and by being part of the
Te Kaha Squad allows you to move from intermediate player up to representative player.
The ABA Te Kaha Development Program Includes facility/court hire, shuttles, quality coaching, coaching equipment and administration.
Training is on Fridays 5pm to 7pm at The YMCA Lagoon, Panmure Basin, along with optional Morning Footwork sessions available from 6:00am to 7:00am on Tuesday and Wednesdays at Lloyd Elsmore and Gillies Ave respectively.
